March Madness Yappie Hour 2010

Hey Everyone!

Tuesday we held our second annual March Madness Yappie Hour. Each dog who came in chose a basketball cookie with a team's name on it, and if they end up with the winner, they'll get a prize at the end of the tournament. We had a great turnout, with lots of new faces. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to take pictures of everyone who made it in, but here are a few faces from Tuesday for you to enjoy.

Daisy sits patiently for a picture after choosing her team

Roscoe was too cute and wiggly to get a clear picture of, but I would have taken him home if I'd had half a chance!

Beautiful Sara smilin' for the camera

Mercedes Wins the Bigwag March Madness Contest

Hey Everyone!

I'm a little behind on my blog posts because the store has been super busy, which is always good! Anyway, I wanted to congratulate Mercedes, a yellow lab owned by Terri Karel, on correctly choosing UNC to win the NCAA basketball tournament. Mercedes was the only dog who correctly chose the winner. She won a basketball pupcake for her effort! Thanks to everyone who played, we had a blast and we're looking forward to even more contestants next year.

Results from Tuesday's March Madness Yappie Hour

Hey Everyone!

We had a great time on Tuesday allowing dogs to pick the winners of the NCAA tournament by eating basketball cookies. I just wanted to post the dog selected bracket here so you can see the results and see if dogs really know anything about basketball! The dog seem to think Memphis has that something special to make it all the way. Regardless of the outcome, it was a fun Yappie Hour and we appreciate so many customers stopping by to play. Next week (March 31st) we'll be using Yappie Hour to help out Murphy Dog Park by stuffing eggs for their upcoming Easter Bunny Hop! Don't forget, if you come help out you get a free goody bag of Easter treats.

Upcoming Yappie Hours

Hey Everybody,

I just put the finishing touches on our newest flier for Yappie Hour. Check out what's coming up in the next month. And don't forget tonight is Coffee House Night. Cary will be making free coffee drinks for people and we've baked up biscotti samples for the dogs. And we'll be giving half off biscotti purchased tonight.
