We had a fantastic time at our Mardi Gras Yappie Hour and just wanted to share the pictures.  Congratulations to Toni and Steve Carter and their dogs Nic, Rose and Josie, who found the baby in the king cake and won the gift basket!

Mardi Paws Pet Parade

Bella Vista Library and the POA sponsored the Mardi Gras Mambo on Sunday the 14th and boy was it cold. Very good turn out for it being such a cold windy day! Other festivities included were the crowning of the Mardi Gras Mambo, king and queen, games, the Mardi Paws pet parade, costume contest, shoebox floats, free food, including king cake, all while enjoying traditional Mardi Gras music at Riordan Hall.

Just wanted to take a minute to congratulate Lucky, a minpin owned by Angela and Clinton Sledge. Lucky found the baby in our Mardi Gras king cake and won the gift basket. Unfortunately, I somehow lost most of the pictures I took Tuesday night (the wonders of technology!) But we do have a picture of Lucky and most of a king cake. We had a terriffic turnout Tuesday, thanks to all who came, ate cake and had fun. We really enjoy seeing everyone at Yappie Hour.

For those of you who didn't get a chance to make it out this week, next Tuesday is the start of our Next Top Product contest. We challenged our employees to find the newest, hottest product in the dog world and bring it to Northwest Arkansas. They've each choosen a product and their choices will be revealed next Tuesday from 5-7pm. Come out, see the hottest products and help decide who wins the competition. The winner is decided by your purchase! The winning employee gets $100, so expect to see great things.

I just finished putting together the basket that will be the prize for the dog who finds the baby in the king cake at Tuesday's Yappie Hour and I wanted to share photos and contents. I tried to put the newest additions to our store in the basket, so you can sample some of our hottest products.

Yappie Hour was a hit!

Hey Everybody!

Our first Yappie Hour was Tuesday, and it was a great success! Thanks to everyone who came out and sampled out new treat, Fish Sticks, made with real Alaskan Salmon. Those who stopped in got a great deal on the Fish Sticks, so I know there are lots of happy dogs in NWA with salmon treats in their bellies. Fish Sticks are now available online and in our store at their regular price.

If you missed Yappie Hour this week, don't worry, we're continuing Yappie Hour every Tuesday from 5pm-7pm. This Tuesday, February 24th, we're going to celebrate Fat Tuesday. We'll have beads for everyone and King Cake for the dogs, complete with a baby for the dogs to find. And the dog that finds the baby wins a prize, so be sure to bring your dog in. And don't worry if you can't stay long, everyone is welcome at Yappie Hour.
