A Grand Opening for the 5th Time

Hello all!

Bonnie of Bow Wow Pet styling is our featured member of the pet community for this month. She recently had a grand opening at her new location and the following is her press release.

Bonnie and her family moved to NWA in 1980 with two small boys, one on the way and two very special best friends, a dalmation named Miriam and a Doberman named Isaiah. At the time there were no kennels in the area, so Bonnie built and operated the first indoor/outdoor kennel in NWA. She soon became the groomer for her kennel as well - grand opening #1.

Grand opening #2 was at a tiny grooming shop behind a veterinarian on W. Walnut. She remained in the small space for 8 years.

Grand opening #3 was Bow Wow Boutique, the first doggie boutique in NWA, where there were self service tubs and a full line of pet clothing, before pet clothing was cool!

Grand opening #4 was Bow Wow Country, a grooming salon in Bonnie's own home, opened with the promise of slowing thing down and giving dogs a calming experience.

But Bonnie isn't really the type to slow down. She has now opened Bow Wow Pet Styling at 2882 W. Walnut. It is an adorable pet salon, with stations that make you think you've walked into a hair stylist rather than a grooming salon. Truly a place for pampering your pets, they offer blueberry facials, aromatherapy baths and peppermint oil ear treatments in addition to traditonal grooming, pet styling and bathing services. Bonnie is celebrating 28 years in business and she welcomes you to stop by her shop. She's open Tuesday through Friday and the first and third Saturday of each month. She welcomes walk-ins when she has time available. To make an appointment call her at 636-6057.
