Just wanted to post a few pictures I received from Saturday's Woofy Walk. This is the second annual Woofy Walk, sponsored by a local girl scout troop and benefiting the Springdale Animal Shelter. It was a small event Saturday, but one with lots of potential and one that I believe has a great future, especially if Brett Harris, the new director of the shelter, has his way. We got to speak with Brett for a few moments Saturday, and he has great plans for the shelter. They even have a volunteer group, Friends of the Springdale Animal Shelter, that has started with hopes of planning events and helping out. I think the future is bright!
