How do you feel about horse slaughter?

Leslie Eschbacher, a local artist and animal lover, stopped by the store today with a very important mission. She found out that HCR 1004, a recommendation that supports the creation of horse slaughterhouses in Arkansas/the United States, has recently passed the house and is now headed to the desk of Governor Mike Beebe. Leslie is strongly opposed to the slaughter of these beautiful animals, whose meat would largely be shipped overseas for human consumption. She brought this Rogers Morning News article from February 22, 2009. Leslie encourages anyone who doesn't support horse slaughter houses in the United States to write to Governor Beebe at the following address:
